I've seen Pedro the Lion/David Bazan 8 times since 2004 in 3 different states. He is my favorite artist, period and gives his fans incredible access to himself via his mid-set Q&A sessions and house show tours playing in fan's homes for 50-75 people. I can't wait for the documentary film about him 'Strange

No comments after six years?! I was at the show in Fort Worth when he was asked how often he masturbates. It was in March 2004 at the Ridglea Theater with Ester Drang and John Vanderslice opening. If I remember correctly, he said he said it was more often lately since his wife was pregnant with their first child at

Someone else who likes both Sturgill and John K. Samson?! I thought I was the only one!

Usually, any year that Bazan puts out a new album, its my favorite. This year, Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide to Earth was my favorite. Blanco is fantastic, though.

This guy's voice over is terrible and combined with background music he chose makes me want to open a vein.

This is one of my favorite bits of his! Every time I make a phone call and have to wait more than a couple of rings, I say to myself 'Answer your telephone' in the exact inflection that Cross uses.

I consider Elmore Leonard's 1998 novel, Cuba Libre to be a western. Awesome book.

I think the Dublin plant closed several years back. You can still sometimes find "Heritage Dr. Pepper" with real Imperial Cane Sugar in stores. I saw it in Costco a couple of weeks back. But I live in Texas where its more common.

I prefer Pepsi to Coke, but I buy Coke products generally because there is no Cherry/Vanilla Pepsi Max. Coke Zero is available in both.

If you have a Cracker Barrel near you, they have Bosco syrup and Bosco candy bars in the general store. Have never tried it, though.

Haven't gotten caught up with the show on Hulu. Thanks for ruining the fact that there are more people, douche.
