I know I am very late to the party, but I only discovered this show on Hulu recently. Episode three turned a great show into a ridiculous one. The only good parts of the episode were Joseph Fiennes tied to a bed and the introduction of Gawain.

When someone whines about the show being too brutal or violent I wish they would have the opportunity to or insight to realize that sort of violence was common and far more brutal than the show has touched on.
