I think (without checking the internet) she died around the 8th or 9th episode of season two, so it was quickly after but not immediately after at least as far as TV time goes.

Eli cut Knox with a saw, Knox thumbed Eli in the eye, back and forth punching and choking and slamming faces through glass antiques, etc.

Though extremely brutal, watching Eli win the fight and kill Agent Knox was one of the most satisfying moments of season 4.
