Is this VR deal going to lead to Jack's downfall, in light of the revelation that the underlying tech is trash? He jumped into the deal out of desperation for something to talk about at Hoolicon so it would be appropriate for it to come back to bite him.

I actually think it's the other characters that are less compelling. There is no one this season that has the impact of Martin Freeman in season 1 or (even more so) Jesse Plemmons in season 2. I really enjoy Varga's understated menace.

He also played Satan in Reaper.

Speaking of Kathryn not being suspicious, why wasn't she more concerned when Gordon showed up inside her home when he wasn't supposed to know where she lived or what her full name was? Come to think of it, why did the Court of Owls was Gordon to join so badly? You'd think an organization as powerful and secretive as

I wouldn't call a hamburger a sandwich.

I hope they don't go the obvious route and have Gavin double cross Richard out of his idea. I'd much rather see Richard and Gavin work together for awhile.

Exactly. Or if you ask someone what they had for lunch and they say "a sandwich", you don't think "it's possible they had a hot dog."

Big Head did create the "Nip Alert" app, and it actually worked. My take on him is he's a reasonably competent coder who just doesn't care.

How did Penguin get Mr Fries suit? Did I miss something?

I agree. The joke is not "Asian cultures are silly and fun to mock." Erlich isn't even doing it to mock the culture. It's part of selling his scam. Your could argue that the character Erlich is being racist, but that doesn't make the show or the writers racist.

It could end next episode, or it could be the center of the rest of the season. Which is a great thing about this show, IMO. I have no idea what to expect.

Outside of reality TV (and probably a bunch of other shows I don't watch), I'm not sure there's a show on TV that respects it's audience less than Gotham. They feel the need to spell out everything ("a powerful knock out drug"), but the plots don't hold up under any rational thought. Why would The Owls ever trust

1. She's probably searching for them. They've moved since the place where the drone saw them.

Here is my grasping at straws explanation for why the house may not have been closely watched. Once the lady who went with Romero and Norman returned to the police station, she would have told them Romero was taking Norman in the woods. At that point, they would have focused all resources on the woods. There would

There several other shows I could have mentioned, but I can't believe I forgot Review. That was sneakily one of the best shows I've seen and so much deeper than it appears at first glance.

I was mostly comparing TV now to TV in the 80s and 90s when I grew up. When The Cosby Show was considered first. Maybe I should have said how much higher the bar is now rather than a "golden age".

I think it happens in every industry, although usually it's because the person has connections. For Big Head it's just dumb luck.

The actor who plays him is nine (according to an online resume that is recent enough to list LMOE).

But he keeps falling up. I love it.

It's all good.
