Huh. I interpreted the "I forgive you," scene rather differently than Mr VanDerWerff and Ms Saraiya. They (or he at least) seemed to think Roger's daughter was being genuine, where all I saw was an emotional power-trip, reminiscent of (although much less ironic and terrifying than) Walter White's rendition of the same

Yeah, that's the conclusion I'm coming to. I'll admit I'm probably pretty spoiled by various great shows of late.

Shoot. Am I going to have to actually watch this show again or not? All these descriptions I'm hearing sound really good, but so did the ones for the last two episodes, and the were just kinda okay. Still borderline meh. I really want to like this show actually, but I still feel the writing and the acting are just not

"joined by Agent Triplett, who is still not a double agent at this point"
Wouldn't it be better if he was a . . . triple agent?

Ever since Pirates, seems he's been playing nothing but variations on Jack Sparrow. Even admitted he got the character stuck in his head, I think.

Which is why it would be interesting if they didn't.

Really hoping they'll be back. They've both been great this year, along with the minimalized and therefore more effective Chang.

Okay, that's a good point. One of this season's major weaknesses has been its pacing, and the lack of Campus-based or "normal" feeling episodes has aggravated that. It has been a somewhat disjointed season. However, I guess I value Community being its old self—-in tone, heart, various other somewhat intangibles—over

It is remarkable and regrettable how fully they've dropped that plot point. I was looking forward to fun scenes in the strange alternate world of the teachers' lounge and seeing Greendale from a different angle.

Count me down as not particularly a fan of either coupling. Jeff and Britta is weird because we don't know what Britta sees in Jeff exactly, and Jeff and Annie is weird because of their big-brother-little-sister dynamic and age gap.

That seems a mite unfair. Though I'd admit that the "gas leak" joke is a cheap shot at low hanging fruit, and that the two episodes you allude to were pretty bad (the Fincher one especially did nothing for me), and that the season as a whole has largely lacked focus and leaned too heavily on gimmick episodes … (deep

I've always felt Jeff and Britta only vaguely make sense, perhaps just on a they-have-chemistry level. But the Jeff and Annie dynamic has always been a mix of cute and creepy, and I was glad when they put it to rest with Annie realizing she was "in love with the feeling of being in love" or something along those

Still digesting. The whole episode felt off balance, which was clearly intentional, and actually a pretty good meta joke. There was quite a lot of evocative emptiness/stillness, and also a lot of real emotion. Buried treasure, indeed!

Any/all of the crew of the Serenity
Pretty much any main character from Justified seasons 1-4, except Quarles

Walter White legitimately scares me too much. The thought of sharing drinks with him is unnerving. The scene with him and Jane's dad in the bar is so good though. . . . Man, I need to rewatch Breaking Bad.

I would be happy to proofread for them, if it meant I could be more officially and professionally associated with the site than just a commenter. I think what I really mean is if they paid me…

Point taken, but look at that wonderful and flexible effusion of language! That right there might make all this admittedly rather silly fan clumping and labeling worthwhile.

They even have kind of similar noses.

Well, I'm glad I'm not crazy. Or, that I'm not the only one who's crazy.
