YES!! I would so watch that!

Maybe it could be "This Week, In Bonnie Bennett Is The Best" now? Kat Graham completely slayed that scene tonight. Bonnie/Damon is the one thing I consistently enjoy on the show anymore.

Great review! Such an important point about Bonnie finding an outlet, through Damon, for her "I will protect the people I love no matter what"-level loyalty where the sentiment is acknowledged, valued and even reciprocated. She/they stole the show for me tonight. I really hope that one day soon Bonnie/Damon will be

Yeah, Henry didn't die in the first one, he was just shot in the leg. You could see him kneeling in the final shot of it, still alive. I think that's meant to be the original real-life version… I mean, replayed, but still. Damon didn't snap out of it and realize it was fake until Lily talked to him in the cellar

You hit the nail on the head with this review. Stefan and Valerie had chemistry enough that they could have carried some flashback story, but this "first love" thing has been done before and done better. And Caroline's reaction was a disservice to all the times she learned to overcome her insecurities in the past.
