I read your comment a week ago. It was on my mind and I came back here, searched through the comments, and found it to read again. It resonated with me.

I didn't notice Issa's pants but thought about Issa's job working non-profit and the fact that Lawrence was unemployed. Perhaps they were traveling in their early years - maybe Lawrence had a great-paying job before he sat on the sofa for two years.

I'll watch this movie because of its awesome cast: Regina Hall, Loretta Devine, and Marlon Wayans are all funny actors. When one has low expectations - because the movie preview looks shitty - then one can (usually) enjoy a film just fine.

Issa Rae's acting has improved tenfold. She had me laughing out loud at several times during the episode (in her boss's office; at the club). She's getting the nuances of acting.

Okay, I"m going to break it down because this reviewer doesn't know shit other than past television shows.
This was a fantastically acted show with a steel-solid narrative that engaged me and everyone I know who is currently watching it.
Fuck the critics - I've seen that the show is rising on IMDB's Top 250 Television

Too bad about Deee-Lite. Their music got better after the first album. Smarter. They evolved. Their last album, "Dewdrops in the Garden," is one of the best electronic albums ever.

I like all of Hahn's performances but this, in I LOVE DICK, was a fucking tour de force. She's astounding with her range.
Griffin Dunne does an excellent job, as do all the supporting cast (the weakest being Kevin Bacon whose name shouldn't be the headliner - this is Hahn's show).

Why do you hate Chi Chi so?

"Cocktail waitresses."
Hee hee!!!!

I hated Gia Gunn on her season and still find her off-putting. My least favorite queen that season…and one of the most unlikable queens to even be on the show (her stupidity, combined with pointed meanness, makes it so).
One of the best parts of Season 6 (my favorite season to date) was Joslyn Fox aptly telling Gia

Are there receipts for that? I mean, I know they're not giving their confessionals within the hour of their challenges or runways - there's no makeup etc.
But HOW MUCH LONGER AFTER do the queens give said confessionals? I always thought it was that day. How else could they remember details?

Saying Chi Chi was lazy in the workroom is a generalization taken from one episode: the WIZARD OF OZ challenge…and I can't say that I held it strongly against her. Chi Chi was finished her work before the other queens and bitter-ass Thorgy (I've watched these episodes, including UNTUCKED, multiple times and Thorgy was

It's embarrassing that these bitches strive to be Kim K. They truly hold her up on a pedestal.
Oh, how the quality of gay icons have fallen!

This episode - which made me laugh out loud - received the same grade as last week's with Octavia Spencer?
Really?
REALLY?!
The mermaid, Complicit, and especially Olive Garden sketches alone were 20X better than anything on last week's ep.
And that zoo pornographer sketch was clever as hell.

I was thinking about Octavia Spencer and how funny she was on 30 Rock before this episode. Figured we have a treat.
This was the worst episode I've seen in years. Holy shit, was it bad! Cringeworthy. Such a waste of talent. What the hell happened?

We know this show loves its gay sex (and so do I) and when he mentioned hugging Ollie, it the first time I truly thought that Asher might be bi-curious. He's made passing jokes in the past, right? They're always about Ollie.
And how will he know if he likes or dislikes dick until he sucks one (homage to NEIGHBORS 2)?

The tone of the review felt negative for a high grade of A-. Did anyone else feel this way?

Harry Potter needed that type of ending. The kid had been through hell and we, the readers who loved the characters (I read all books in the series twice) had suffered great losses of beloved characters, especially in Book 7.

Ah, French & Saunders - they are geniuses.

I liked the first half - A LOT.
I hated the second half - A LOT.
The second half was so bad that it eclipsed the greatness of the first half and for that reason I would never recommend the movie.
