I could take or leave Miles, he definitely wasn't a good person but what Emily did was completely unacceptable, more wrong than anything he's done and stupid to boot. There was no need to kill him. She could've just keep feeding Cassidy animals or at worst went and got him human blood.

One nitpick. I wouldnt call the scene where he wanted the microwave food a meltdown. I really think he just told her to make him food. And in the way everyone does everything in this show he was selfish and annoying about it but it definitely didn't come across across as a meltdown. I think you're misremembering it
