I honestly think you are becoming a minority in thinking Iris is a problem. It was surprising that their friendship breakup lasted a week but they are really good friends and Eddy ' s talk helped Barry to realize stop talking to her is not a good thing. Interesting scenes between Joe/Wells.

Going forward it will be Flash/Iris and Barry/Linda Park( ep12 onwards). The Iris story line is actually making Barry and Joe dumb. They should realize how betrayed iris will feel after finding out who The flash is.
