Anxiety nightmares aside, my favourite part of this episode was when the receptionist immediately opened the candy jar when Louie walked in. There wasn't an offer for Jane or anything, it was just a known detail that Louie was going to reach into the jar and grab some candy.

You could say that Louis' mother didn't love him from the Kashi cracker bit, but I think that's spinning something he intended differently. This whole episode seems to be about education, retention, and personal growth. The cracker bit was a rehashing of some older material, his mom used to buy the saltine crackers
