I watched we need to talk about kevin, which was okay

I just got back from Taika Waititi's Hunt for the Wilderpeople and that has /got/ to be the best movie of 2016 so far. It's maybe a little less funny that What We Do in the Shadows but what's as funny as that honestly. Like WWDitS is 10 on funny HftW is 8, but it's also got gorgeous cinematography, great characters,

it definitely was the brotherhood, that was Lem Lemoncloak.

I watched half of I Saw the Light but I found it too be really uninteresting and walked out.

Comrade Greeting Card from Futurama

I. Hope. They. Have. Express. Shipping. In. Heaven.

So ends the little show that could.

It definitely was really weird how they treated it, I forgot about how they'd post a couple episodes at once. But man, I get why they'd move it online in the last two seasons. Season 3 and 4 were way too heavy for a ten year old.

I read another comment about this last week and was kind of surprised when I did. Is this just about the new episodes not airing on TV, the clip show, or is there something else I didn't hear about that was really bad?

This weekend I saw the last witchhunter. I expected it to be bad, and it was, but I really wanted to see Vin Diesel Vin Diesel. I also watched Nathan for you which is great, drunk history, which is consistently pretty good. Earlier this week I saw Nebraska and Only Lovers Left Alive which I really really loved. Oh, I

"the professy will help" from futurama
and This one plays a lot more of a role in my life, whenever I'm in bed and can't sleep I refer to myself as Tired Bryan, and I just realized I ripped it off from Mike Birbiglia's Sleepy Carl

Kumiko, Treasure Hunter, WHAS the first day of camp, The Smiths, all good stuff!

I Saw the Wolfpack. It really made me want to have 7 kids and not keep them locked in a tiny apartment for 15 years but it does make me want to home school them because they seemed so sweet

Lorne Malvo is the perfect role for Billy Bob Thornton. He was never for me, even though I know he's good, but this was one of those undeniable performances.

I saw Song of the Sea this weekend as well. I totally got the Miazaki feel from it as well. The simple story bothered me /a little/ but the art was gorgeous and I really love the way Moore explores and shares Irish folklore. I really really love when he plays with space and perspective

Movies
I watched The Runaways because this was supposed to be the movie where you got to see Kristen Stewart in her element, and it was, but I was mostly blown away by how awesome Michael Shannon was in it, even though nobody should be blown away when he's the best part of a movie.
Also Song of the Sea, which like

I really lucked out today. I went to pick up some art at a place and it wasn't open for a couple hours and decided to watch whatever was playing at the art house movie theater next door and it was showing Breathless, which was fantastic.
I also read the comic Baltimore: The Plague Ships. It was recommended by the

This is the first time I've really really loved Rihanna, great song.

I'm rewatching Mad Men, watched for the first time Brokeback Mountain and Aliens, and read a little of Bob Odenkirk's load of hooey.
