Um what? I never said I didn't like it, i never claimed any superiority. Reeeeeaaad the coommment agaiinnnnn. Especially the last paragraph. I just noticed they look horrible when faking it. Kinda like you do trying to sound justified in your hater comment. They have pills for knee jerk cynics like you. Take

As a not quite professional violinist who has played in many community orchestras…
1) it is paiinfully obvious to me when actors with no actual violin experience get up there and fake it, horribly. The maestro and his girlfriend from home in the S1 finale really did look bad. Did anyone else notice, this or any other

Had a Deeelish Chicago Dog. Living in the Chicago area does help…

Saw Slow West, based on recommendations from the Commenteriat here in the Best Of lists. And it was great, when I see a movie like this I think, who says the western is dead and not relevant to our modern futile times, this movie made it look easy.

I got a rock.

More call out for Jupiter Ascending. Saw it in theaters when it came out with my daughter. We both really enjoyed it, certainly for the special effects, always nice to see our hometown of Chicago get trashed, and the ending was good way insane.

That was gonna be my comment.

Extra call out for Scott Snyders Wytches! I do not consider myself someone who can be easily Creeped Out in Graphic Novel format… But this one does it, multiple times, from the prologue to the final Twist (that's right… hold your neck…)…

First of all, I very much appreciated Zach Handlens description in the blurb for The Whispers what exactly is meant by Least Essential, I was never quite clear on that until now. I interpret this as meaning… Boring… And Meh. No excuse for that.

Your point being?

I read Blankets when it came out along with Watchmen about the same time. Both of these turned me into a prolific consumer of graphic novels. In other words… I agree with the columnist here, and believe this is Essential Reading regarding the Art of the Graphic Novel.

Give David Smalls Stitches a shot. It is not narcissistic at all to my remembrance, bleakly funny and hits like a wallop.

I was about to write a Cameron supportive comment but you nailed it. I remember playing hooky from work with my team when it came out and having an amazing movie going experience. Note I have not seen the movie since, I believe it would suffer on a home non 3d screen. But when he rereleases it I will see it, as I

Yes, I heard this was a Thing but I never actually tried to find real people and examples of the Thing, just seemed too ludicrous, that there just can't possibly be people who can't handle or enjoy Fury Road, Force Awakens, etc, because it doesn't fit their political filter, they can't acknowledge that humanity is

Wow. This person is obviously very passionate in his views. That's the nicest thing I can say. And I'm sure he's taken lots of other things… Basically any time someone other than a White Male gets a role or a job or an acceptance… And runs it through his filter. My eyes are still bleeding and my brain hasn't

Apologies. I do have trouble reading a certain kind of comment like yours for what is meant to be. This is a pretty awesome community in general, I should trust it more!

Um. No. There are pills for Knee Jerk Cynicism. Take one. You'll feel better.

To me this whole Too Much Women thing doesn't seem real. Duh, Fury Road Sux becuz uv Strong Lady and Emascoolated Max, damn libruls, at leest Pregnunt Lady Bought it. Do these people reallllly exist? Upvote for any one who truly admits to being one or knows a Real Person that is one, and to help me understand

Said Greatest Moment of Harpos literally (well… Almost literally…) made me bust a gut when I first saw this movie in the 70s , I'm sure was no small part in making me a lifetime Marx Bros fan.
