Oh, her Bland is forever an iconic Drag Race performance. Not a good one, but ICONIC.

I wanted Katya to win desperately. But if we're following our heads and not our hearts, Alaska definitely deserved to win and should have won.
I think she might have been intentionally doing that this season too. And it's brilliant because we're all over here hating on who sent who home and she's just over here with her unused tubes of lipstick.
I thought it was absolutely a bad editing choice to include the Pulse reference and date the filming.
I wonder why the editors cut certain things the way they did a LOT this season. This is just another example. Obviously Alaska'S behavior was UGLY and downright shameful (bribery? Really?), but it's interesting they've given her a winner's edit until last week and then this week it's full on villain.
This is definitely an interesting thing. However, I think some of it comes from how drag queens of a certain caliber operate. They go around the world and perform for one night at a club or an event. They are being paid a lot of money and are generally treated like royalty, but are in fact also guests of the host.…
On the concept of keeping a goat and eliminating a threat: you can do it, but this show is about a career, not just a game show like Survivor. If you win the season but your competition was weak, that diminishes your title. You want to win against the best.
On the contrary. They needed to show that bribery offer. The tantrum was childish, but that bribery should cost her the crown.
That's my thing with Detox this week. She made a bullshit, totally unfair decision, but she didn't make any excuses about a shirt or some such fuckery. Just "I'm sorry. She's my friend and I couldn't." Credit to Detox.
Agreed. That speech was actually very telling. "The person I'm sending home is a fierce competitor who actually deserves to stay. But the person I'm letting stay…lent me this shirt and has done nothing else of note."
I noticed that as well.
I don't think we can honestly say Katya is underrated. She's rated appropriately. People love her.
The issue here is that there's no desperation. Even Alaska's lipsync—it was better than Katya's but it lacked the vitality that having your ass on the line brings.
I agree the leg guitar was EVERYTHING. And then…Alaska pulls out a flag…and starts getting some good repeated movements during key phrases while Katya kind of laid on the floor like a limp fish. Choices.
Having not read the books, I assume that the child Claire tells Frank about is actually her second pregnancy.
