I couldn't give less of a shit about what trevor thinks of Frank. His character is just too boring and inconsequential for me to rly place much stock in what he thinks about anything. Additionally, the acting is just not up to snuff and makes most of his scenes seem awkward and take you out of the moment.

All their dialogue has me cringing at all times. They've truly forgotten everything about Ian (including how to write him believably) since Mickey's departure. It is so glaring.

Additionally, when Caleb first popped up, Ian implied to him that he was open to bottoming. Ian never bottoming before is a flat out lie, but that seems to be the writers' MO these days. Someone put this show out of it's misery

Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Ian was overtly grossed out by vaginas like 3 episodes ago? And now it's just not a thing? I think even that same writers wrote the episode. These writers lack of caring is becoming so glaring.

I would rather they stay friends honestly, I haven't found any of Ian's "relationships" since Mickey believable at all. There's never any chemistry or they have to force or change something about Ian's character in order to do the storyline. But Gallaghers don't have friends, they'll find a way for them to fuck,

I completely agree. I see nothing.

Do you think they're hoping Fisher still might come back? It still seems that way to me.

You may still feel that way when you're caught up, but I wouldn't comment until you've seen everything.

let's not forget he wrote last years finale as well….which was terrible

I kinda hope it fails…oops. Mickey is a way more interesting character than what is described for this pilot

Me too, and Mickey. I don't know how we're supposed to root for Ian at all, knowing how he treats those who try to care for him, but I think these writers seem to think that viewers forgot what happened 5 minutes ago, let alone two episodes ago.

How is Mickey not good enough for Ian? I would argue that everything that Mickey did in s5 was for Ian's well-being. I might have believed that after s3, but not now. I would argue that Ian is the worse partner of the two.

I don't really feel like they've trimmed anything, just added more unnecessary characters with zero history on the show.

Nothing to do with the romance necessarily. I've found Mickey to be a much more interesting character than Ian for some time. I would rather have him around than Ian at this point.

    I miss Mickey
