That was due way more to behind the scenes politics. Kyle MacLachlan was dating Lara Flynn Boyle and she was reportedly not happy about the proposed relationship between Audrey and Coop. That's why they brought Annie into the story.

Kind of sucks that this article is about Jandek yet almost all the comments are about the Shaggs.

…Because I like the show…

Why are you reading the reviews and commenting then?

My reply wasn't targeted just to you, but to the idea in general. I would agree with that too though.

David Lynch is a 71 year old man. David Lynch sees the world as a 71 year old man. You have to think about the culture he grew up in. If you guys keep subjecting your idols to your worldview and your sense of morality, you will have no idols left.

Arguments like this are pretty much pointless. The album isn't perfect but what album is. Extremely important album and kicks the complete shit out of all of the wimpy dribble that is coming out now.

Although, Tommy Wiseau as Melania is genius

Pretty sure that Rosie would be the best option

I would say that the story and the situation surrounding Two Girls, One Cup is way less weird than what Tickled features, especially considering that the TGOC was made for an audience

It was a pseudonym, Terry DiSisto does not exist

I don't know why no one questions someone who listens to Justin Bieber but if someone likes music that to others may seem grating they are just liking it because of a back story. That seems odd. To me Justin Bieber makes my head want to explode. I think it would be fair to assume that people just have different tastes

Plus the music has the soul and wit of jello

It's sad that people will tolerate this man baby's tantrums.

That was a compilation of tracks that were recorded in the early to mid 70's (for the most part). There was a second studio attempt and that is where the bulk of the material is from. POTW is the only true album that the Shaggs released.

I own 30. Maybe I should call someone

Agreed. "When the Telephone Melts" perfectly captures the feeling of be a long way from home, out of options, and on a lot of acid. Total 'the bottom has dropped out' music.

Someone in the thread or Jandek? lol
