Can we get a animated Wonder Woman series instead? I have nothing against this series but if you are trying to capitalize on the character's appearance in BvS and her upcoming solo film wouldn't a animated series be a better way of doing that?
My dream Wondie animated series would basically be the DC Nation shorts

I actually haven't read Scalped so I can't say. This is the my first exposure to this creative team.
I also like Biblical stories especially ones like this that have a specific take on the material. That said so far the main series is using the setting as window dressing for what is a essentially a dark, violent

Funny enough I was going to describe it as a Biblical Mad Max in my post but I thought the Conan comparison worked better, since the series hews closer to that kind of barbarian, fantasy story.
And the violence is something that, like it or not, is rather essential to the story. Part of it is depicting a world that God

P:R is a great website, although it updates very sporadically these days.
The costumes in the MCU tend to vary in quality. I think the best one that wasn't one of Iron Man suits was Captain America's costume in the first Avengers Movies. It was so elegant in its simplicity. The other ones aren't terrible but like you

Congratulations!
Has anyone been reading the Image series The Goddamned? It is essentially Conan the Barbarian with a Biblical twist. Cain is the main character wandering the lands before the great flood. It's a grisly but fun romp with some wonderful artwork.

Anka definitely has a distinct style in terms of his costume designs; you can usually tell you are looking at an Anka redesign from the way he uses colours and the lines he places on the costume. I'm not his biggest fan but I definitely do think his style works for some characters over others. I was actually at few of

I actually agree with you completely. My issue is that I feel that DC doesn't either have good costume designers working for them or that they do but don't allow them to actually work on costume redesigns. A blog I follow called Every Day is Like Wednesday noted that people like Frank Miller or Darwyn Cooke would have

Rumor has it that they want to make the comics more similar to their movies and TV shows. Assuming that is the case I hope we get to see some costume redesigns as well. Greg Capullo actually tweeted about a Batman design of his getting green lighted. Hopefully that is some indication of good costume designs coming our

I actually was curious about how they would handle the whole multiple choices aspect. Especially in regards to the ending.

The fact that they are pink is a bonus for me.

I haven't read any of Robinson's other works either. I picked up Our Expanding Universe on a whim. I had been reading a lot of superhero comics and I felt that this book would be a nice alternative that I would enjoy.

-Mark Wheatley's and Marc Hempel's Mars: A bizarre space opera series that has some appealing artwork. It look liked a science fiction series designed by Hanna-Barbera. I think that's the key to making the story work as it is because it's a very odd story that hosts a rather unusual cast of characters.

I know I want to give Legends of Wonder Woman a shot but I'm still undecided on getting it in single issues or in trade form.

Was it really that bad? The trailers made it look like it would be, at the very least, something worth seeing in the theatre for the visuals. I'm surprised at how poorly it's been received.

Apocalyptigirl was indeed very sick, and was my first introduction to Maclean. I think I liked Headlopper even better than Apocalyptigirl; it has this energy and humour to it that really pulls you into the story. Sava nailed the reason why his artwork is so appealing and why it makes a story like Head Lopper work. I

I picked up the first trade on a whim mostly just because the book looked great and was pleasantly surprised by the story. I still feel that the art carries most of the the heavy lifting though. Incidentally it was that trade and Moon Night: From the Dead that made me really appericate Jordie Bellaire's work. It is it

Yeah Island is a great way to expose yourself to comic creators that would otherwise slip through your radar, at least for me it is.

While I do agree with that to an extant I really do like the way the series has focused on this group of guerrilla fighters up against impossible odds. The story that we do have is compelling in its own right.
That said I do still agree that a longer series would be a great way to explore the way this war has shaped

We Stand on Guard #6. This miniseries has been a great read and I'm looking forward to seeing how BKV ends it, especially after the last issues's cliffhanger.

He does a lot of covers now and I know that he re-teamed with Warren Ellis and Bellaire for the Image series Injection.
