She had the potential to be the Michonne (The Walking Dead) of The Straiin. She could have been a bold, fierce, sword wielding Latina heroine…instead, she was a woman who threw away everything she had because she kept making bad decisions about the men in her life.

Yes, it seems to be a consistent theme with The Strain..everytime they hit on a promising note, they cut it off like a useless appendaege. Which makes The Strain another of the walking wounded on scripted tv.

What little hope was left for the show died tonight. Three of the four strong female chaacters (Nora, Dutch, and Coco) have all been reduced to useless stereotypes and props. The Councilwoman doen't quite count yet.
