I'll miss Agent Carter,but we'll have some great memories in DVD/BluRay.

After some consideration,you DO have a point.
I should have used HALLOWEEN instead.
John Carpenter himself said he had no direct involvement with any of the sequels past no. 3.
Sometimes sequels CAN be better if they're done the right way.
Two examples are the ones you mentioned ('Empire' Terminator 2),
Others are

Some movies SHOULD NOT HAVE SEQUELS.
Like successive generations of descendants, they lose connection with the Original
and mostly distort the message of the Original.

Greg Lake's 'I Believe in Father Christmas' is one you'll never hear in the shopping malls,and that's why it's great.
I also like Celine Dion's 'O Holy Night'.
