The finale didn't quite live up to my overinflated expectations but I won't let that detract from the pure majesty of four seasons of near-perfection. Disappointing. With such a big budget, how could they have gone so wrong? The fellow who plays Marco Polo is just awful - pouty, delicate, insubstantial. If I were the Khan, I would give him three days' rations and send him home. The dialogue is contemptible, the scene changes are jumpy and disorienting, the editing
