I think he meant Anthony Stewart Head. He was, of course, on Buffy.

Quite true. I just read an article about the justice system in Scandinavia. It's like heaven comparing to here. Even Breivik (this crazy guy who killed 77 people in Norway) only got 21 years in prison and a prison cell with internet access.

It's blocked in the UK I believe, but they merely had to create several mirror sites (if that's the right term, not entirely sure how it works) and it's all good, and that's what they're doing. ProxyBay lists all of it.

No, the network didn't censor it. The nudity is rather brief and only on 2 episodes out of 10, so they probably figure they can get away with that.

You mean you liked that certain sex scene? Not being perverted here and her character is great overall… but you gotta admit it was memorable.

I'm sure they can raise a lot of money through this. Veronica Mars went off the air a long time ago, while Community just did so I expect more fans, and they will be younger (and therefore more passionate about shows, generally speaking) as well.

They still need to make a movie though. That was talked about a lot before the cancellation, and obviously their movie prospects isn't gonna change because the series ended one year earlier than planned.

Well they fired Dan Harmon, and the show was only renewed for season 5 due to a licensing deal with Sony, bring 3 other shows to NBC under the condition that they keep Community. There was no doubt they were going to cancel the show before that deal.

Hannibal is incredibly cheap for NBC, so I wouldn't count it in. For the other two I think it's more because they have nothing else than because they really believe in the show. Gutting Community and Revolution officially takes away their "keep cult shows alive" status they've held since Chuck.

I'm still upset about that. I may explode in rage if Mysteries of Laura pull in Ironside numbers and get swiftly cancelled (which I think is pretty likely), thus the whole point of cancelling Revolution is gone.

I have a 22-episode rule with all network shows, which is basically to watch the show only once it's guaranteed at least 22 episodes.

No more Voice to support it, so chances are its ratings will plummet in season 2 and gets cancelled like many other shows in similar circumstances.

I know, but the other arguments count as well, and adding the fact that it was not proven false leave some room for us to argue that it was not just a really nutty theory. I initially thought it was nutty too (who didn't?)

There was a book called Dark Alliance by Gary Webb (I actually only know this because this is being made into a Jeremy Renner film) who was one of the first to break the news about the CIA, Contras and crack.

Firefly's end amounts to 10 cancellations for me.

You should watch the first episode. If you hate it then you probably should stop there. If you think it was okay or you're unsure, then keep going. It really steps up in episode 2 and 3.

I really like it! It's more mature than the CW's standard fare, and all three storylines in the pilot are very interesting. Also cool to see so many familiar faces on the Ark. Based on reviews elsewhere then the show will get even better, so that's great.

On Metacritic (which collects reviews from all kinds of sources) Defiance got 57% while the 100 got 63%. Just saying…

That's true, but it is sci-fi shows like Defiance where money matters most. If you're gonna have a post-apocalyptic sci-fi show, you need the budget to show that new world to the audience.

American, according to a review I read.
