That's very surprising. As a star trek fan it especially rubbed me the wrong way with its terrible reworking of source material. As well as that they (spoilers) found a cure for death and moved past the need for starships.

I saw it after the show was over, so the first episode I saw was the actual pilot on a friend's dvd. I rewatched the show none too recently but its amazing how good that pilot is, one of the best I can remember. It effectively established characters, motivations, stakes, all in 40 minutes.

I don't know, if they regularly pick up people suspected of abilities or have showdowns in places like union station, I'd be very surprised if the public didn't know about them. And that's just this one small team.

I may not be remembering correctly, but as far as I can remember, only Captain America was doing any heroics ( few saves, helping police coordinate) while the others were in constant battle mode.

There was IHOP I guess, but that's all I remember

Well I wouldn't say "secret", considering that their vans and other swag are very ostentatiously labelled. It's like they hired Tom Hatherford for branding

First episode was a pretty high profile attack on Union station. Second his Latin ex-girlfriend met him. Why can't no one know?

That was really bad, I really couldn't believe they were saying that, both like out of touch grampas. Even weirder that ward, who for sure had a higher education in the last decade, also scoffed.

Yup I really doubt SHIELD is one for government transparency. THANKS OBAMA

Well it was the SHIELD "Avengers Initiative". It's likely that they haven't told that to the civs

Enough with your technobabble. Will you speak English?

I got tired of the show a long time ago, but I still really like his stand up specials

Screw that, at this point she could solve almost every cold case in history. Tell us who took the Limbergh baby!

Face it, Dygitalninja. Soccer was as boring as mom and apple pie. That's why they jazzed it up.

so psychic was using clothing that she had before she got shot to identify who shot her? That's not psychometric at all

And like most new-fangled technology of this show, it will only be used in this ONE episode

For me, the way that she uses it, with ghosts, bugs me. spirits is something that would cross a line. (why was the murdered girl bothering her, did she have something she owned after death, I missed it if so) . If they waved it off as a way for her to interpret it/maybe its her own issues getting in the way, I'd be

There are so many different things they could do that it's frustrating.

"next week marvel at Kennex's new phone, its technology is so advanced it doesn't need buttons!"

I did not like their shading of Stahl's character. Now she's a "cool" hot girl, because she watches sports and drinks bourbon. Very lazy and cliche character shorthand
