I'm pretty confused about the high grade myself. I've never had too much trouble letting go of the odd plot hole or contrivance if I'm given a good story, but there's a limit. Hell, even using the word plot hole seems a bit too light for this season.

C.

a wizards terrorist did it

Also EVERYONE seeemed to know in the CIA that it was a CIA play, which defeats the whole point of installing a puppet, with magic moles everywhere and all.

They really needed a wrap up with a council member to discuss the issue if the show wanted us to think that the guy was going to live. They could have gone with a

I don't understand, are you quoting a reference I don't get, or are you saying that you doubt the fictional character knows that I, a real person, exists?

Didn't he call Monroe specifically to ask what it meant?

Three years of high school Latin (rarely useful) made me look up and say, "isn't that a verb?" Should it be decapitore? Either way, Nick, it's not hard to figure out what that word is.

"Are you over it now?!"

I'm personally still marveling at the stupidity of the Enzo plan

I was confused during that injection scene, here's how it should have gone

I'm so surprised that this show has done so well with Katherine. It'slike a different set of writers is in charge of her. She's the only character where every expansion to her story works. I remember the scenewhere it really clicked, when she told Elena that she never turned off her humanity.

"Do you think I'm going to stand here and judge you after I found out you were tortured for five years?"

In retrospect it hurts me a bit because Donnell showed that he's a damn fine actor, but they wasted him a lot in season 1 when he was doing the rich playboy schtick in the beginning, and then of course the love triangle angst
