Lame. They deal with Marge and homers marriage many times in the show. Marge isn't some poor beaten housewife with no way out. She's pretty brutal herself at times. And homer is no brute. Many times they show what a sweetheart he is and how he managed to win Marge despite her being so much better than he is.
