That's not how you correct someone's grammar. For instance, you have to know how words are used before saying that they are used incorrectly.

Much better way to judge a show than to see it for yourself!

this comment makes it seem like he made a press release about the blowjob decision. it was just part of a longer interview.

My first thought exactly. "Well that's odd."

hot take!

Jesus, what made them think that sounded like a good idea?? It's tonally a million miles from what happens in the book. Change the specifics, fine, but don't change the entire meaning of a passage.

"Shit."

I suppose I always thought of it the way Keith describes, showing a few cracks in Marge's otherwise impeccable surface. But it's interesting to think about how it might have provoked her to reconsider Jerry.

I think both you and TGGP shared some insight into this. To me, I just thought of it as a way to show some subtle shades of grey for Marge, but this is a solid point.

Well that sounds exactly like Brazil, one of my favorite films of all time.

Oh I didn't assume that! Just my two cents. Definitely a poor release date.

That sounds exactly like Brazil.

Brazil is my favorite movie so this just excited me. I haven't seen the episode yet; gotta finish Legion before starting this.

So, why does the Mike Yanagita scene exist?

We've got the "I don't watch this but here's my two cents" guy.

"I'm worried this show will be as good as it has been" is a weird criticism to pair with that high of a rating.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but at least that vignette at the beginning of A Serious Man was thematically related to the main story - so maybe the relevance will come out here, even if it's not a direct story connection?

Yep, I spent that year trying in vain to convince people that it was the better comic book movie!

Massive typo in the second paragraph - it just cuts off mid-sentence.

Oh I know. It's just my little torch I carry in the back of my mind. Great filmmaker, but somehow bombs every time he's given a huge budget.
