The most hilarious one I've seen (and I can't say I've read many, so there's probably better out there) was Tim/Hawkeye (of the Avengers) slash. They were working some DEA case together and living in a cabin.

Destroyer - Bye Bye
Moonface - Yesterday's Fire
Counting Crows - Long December (I have no good explanation for why)
Of Montreal - A Sentence of Sorts in Kongsvinger
and the new Beck album

Oh man, I have to respectfully disagree with the Circa rec. I've had some terrible service there. Plus, why go to Circa when you can walk a couple blocks to Hank's Oyster Bar?

I wish it had been Mary Elizabeth Winstead — she seems chill. But no, it was someone else with two first names (there's your discreet hint, @avclub-5e5e0bd5ad7c2ca72b0c5ff8b6debbba:disqus. Take it for all it's worth).

Any ep with Bob Ducca's got to be at least a B+ in my mind. When will Bob get his own show?

That was Jamie Denbo, of Terriers and Ronna and Beverly fame.

Agreed. Fingers crossed they do pick it up. More Josh Peck for all!

I used to live with someone who was on Passions. All it ever gave me was a bad housemate.

I predict it now: Adore's not going to get eliminated, she's going to be sent to rehab by Mama Ru. Because she was definitely on something through most of this episode — especially while filming the acting challenge.

Is this the True Detective review?

Aw I have a soft spot for that one. I mean, it's basically just an episode of CSI, but I liked the redeeming twist.

Yeah, Milk seemed like she had the best artistic vision of the group. Given that Jinkx and Sharon Needles both won their seasons, I think a bit of surrealism, black comedy (which too many queens think is the same as shade), and aesthetic boundary pushing are strong assets for a competitor.

Nope.

The only thing that could make me believe Michelle Monaghan could possibly be middle-aged is those loose pants.

He lacks the constitution for it.

I'm assuming (hoping) that you mean Rita Moreno, not Morena, and if that is true I am THRILLED! More Rita Moreno! May she somehow work West Side Story references into every episode.

Upvote for the link to Katie Coyle. Her piece is the best articulated one I've read and gets to the heart of the exhaustion that we (point of fact: I am a woman and a feminist) feel when encountering this in a story we otherwise love.

If John Hawkes gets a role—which he should—I will feel 100% cheated if he doesn't end up in some sort of lackadaisical but tension-filled showdown with Raylan.

Oh sweet mercy, I never knew how much I wanted this until now

Also, thank god for a hearty dose of Tim to balance out the parricide
