I think I'll need to rewatch because I keep distracting myself with "Is that REALLY Dan Stevens?" and "How did he lose 15 years from his face???"

The return of Jacob Pitts to my television has necessitated the return of Babs to the commenteriat of the AV Club. Guys, Jacob Pitts and his doofy smile and amazing hair is BACK! God I hope this character secretly loves YA fiction, too.
It took three different independent source confirmations before I could believe that yes, that is Dan Stevens.
Niles Crane is a top-tier band name. Plus, I listened to the one song on their Bandcamp and it ain't half bad.
Yes, this is the kinda conspiracy theory I come to these comments for! Shireen will rise again! Fuck Lady Stoneheart — come on, Lady StoneFACE!
Bob the Drag Queen.
I'd add Max to that list, too.
While I certainly can't say I loved this season (I maybe hated it?), I do think it did something interesting in that it was made up largely of two factions of drag — old school, whether pageant or comedy, and this new drag-as-art visual performance type. Unfortunately, the issue is that the old school queens weren't…
How, HOW did she not get called out for that? I mean, really.
Ugh, really? If Sansa got raped so that she could think of Theon as a good guy (because he wasn't comfortable watching someone get raped), then I have zero faith in how this plotline is going to be handled.
Very few! Wow, I actually think this season was full of memorable outfits: Katya's Baberaham Lincoln, Max's broken heart, Trixie and Pearl's conjoined twins, Violet's sequin-to-plaid jumpsuit — and that's only the ones I'll remember for being good!
Sure, fine. But that STILL doesn't excuse that chicken outfit, which should have resulted in an immediate sashay away and a blacklisting from all future Drag Race activities.
If we're sticking to Ru's criteria and judging on Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent, Ginger has, at *best*, the last two.
Agreed, entirely. And while I think Kennedy is a great performer (that lipsync proved it) and Ginger is a solid actress, I don't think either have the creativity or the taste that that the others in the top 5 have. They may have done well in particular challenges, but their drag overall is boring.
Trixie really has a huge fan base pulling for her. I could see her taking Miss Congeniality just based on her ability to get out the vote.
Looks like you and Will Harris (or in this case, Josh Alston) share a brain! http://www.avclub.com/artic…
If you're the president, I'll happily be your veep. Martin Starr can do no wrong.
I'd agree, but in the books, Jon's death is a HUGE cliffhanger, the likes of which we haven't seen in the earlier books. GRRM broke his pattern for that cliffhanger, and I wouldn't be surprised to see D+D do the same.
Presuming that Jon Snow gets Lady Stoneheart-ed, she'll have to be in the same place he is to make that happen. Though my guess is that's not until next season.
Pierce seems like a Ben Swain-type to me, and that he'll serve the same purpose Swain ultimately did on TToI — unknowing patsy.
