At least in terms of serialization, it certainly seems to be. A new bad guy every week has worked for dramas for decades—no reason in particular it can't work for comedy.

Ginsberg!!!!! He's a martian, it could never work.
I think it was simply "Oh well".
Yeah, I'm finding the Andre-bashing more and more wearisome. Maybe it's because I've grown to like Paul Scheer so much, but really it just feels like it's gone from relentless to bordering on psychotic. Andre needs a win or two, and Pete needs to be taken down a peg again
To add my voice to @avclub-c26473f2f4772a2a52e4690515ce6e75:disqus 's: I think allowing Finn to grow up—including the requisite puberty weirdness—is an awesome choice the show has made, as it allows it to explore the actual difference between childhood and adulthood. I think Adventure Time asks and answers that…
What Was Missing is probably my favorite episode—so emotionally rich, with such a great sense of character. And an awesome song.
Mary Elizabeth Ellis already broke Nick's heart—how could she come back for Winston's too?
Eh, Fumero (and Santiago) just still isn't grabbing my attention. I don't know if it's the material or the actress, but something still isn't clicking there.
"Considah yahself part-a the family! We've taken ta you SO STRONG. It's CLEAH, weahr going-to-get-along!"
I just about epitomize "Republican-nightmare, coastal, latte-drinking, kale-eating elitist", and even I think that line drips with Sorkin-esque condescension.
I didn't think the names were the point. The point was Kate McKinnon (and the other)'s look of utter exasperation and simultaneous boredom.
Huh, agree to disagree, I guess. I thought this was one of their stronger episodes. Maybe my watching it all out of order sketch-by-sketch on Hulu helped? The first one I saw was the fantastic and surreal Mooney digital-short thing, and that put me in charitable mood for all the rest.
Game one done! Atlanta and their hand-chopping were no match for Kershaw!
GO BLUE! Kershaw and the crew are gonna prove the Dodgers aren't allergic to October, vindicate Magic's giant amounts of money and give Vin Scully the retirement he deserves!
Dads lost the night last night, behind Mindy and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but Brooklyn Nine-Nine's been slipping the fastest…
Yay! Put John Mulaney in front of my eyeballs and earballs on a weekly basis!
The Voice is actually the big winner of the time slot (and the night, and NBC's lineup in general). Glad to see NBC making money, but I do hate to see scripted series, even mediocre ones, lose out to the unscripteds.
Her timing is off to me. I think it's an actor problem more than a character problem. Perhaps she'll learn from her colleagues and directors, but right now Fumero/Santiago's definitely the show's weakest link for me.
Only while watching Breaking Bad.
My neighbors don't watch Breaking Bad—they either think I've been murdered, been having really weird sex, or gone off my meds for the last hour. Possibly all three.
