I was definitely aware they had to have been intentional, I just didn't find that the choice worked particularly well.

Oh I guess I misunderstood what procedural meant, likely because most procedural shows are also episodic.

I haven't really watched many of those older shows since television has improved so much recently that they can be rough to watch, but my understanding was that those shows were case-of-the-week, where character development/plot developments didn't really exist outside of individual episodes.

Did you not watch the subsequent film or something? It's within The Deathly Hallows Part 1 where they learn he stole Voldemort's locket because Voldemort mistreated his House Elf

People who have read the books need to stop making this assumption. Surely the people who haven't read them are more qualified to determine whether the films make sense on their own.

Have you considered at least watching the movies? They are quite good

Regardless of the OP specifically not stating it was "good" already invalidating your point, It was actually pretty well received and grossed over $800 million.

Considering the idea of having to kill off Harry and the idea of resurrecting him happened in the same book, I don't think that could be called a cop out.

Having watched it for the first time only recently, I found the show's score and acting to be unbearably bad at times. The team drama aspects also didn't seem to work at all due to all of the teen characters being completely unlikable. While I'm sure it was a huge step forward in television when it aired to due its

I doubt you sometimes seeing his name on the title of some articles is feeding his ego

It doesn't effect my enjoyment but I also didn't interpret the OP's comment as it having a negative effect on him either.

Wondering where the show takes place hardly qualifies as being "hung up".

Hillary isn't president. Why do people still bring her up as though anything she does now matters? When they were both simply presidential candidates, the comparisons made sense, but it's no longer an apples to apples comparison.

Ah the old bringing up Hillary to distract from a Trump controversy. Donald would be proud.

This episode potentially made me drop the show so it blows my mind that it got such a great review. The whole play book plot was awful, and the football player's decisions throughout the episode made zero sense. Betty and Veronica literally confronted him and said they would destroy them, then about a day later he

Doesn't that tweet also simultaneously hurt their case? The tweet specifically says "true life account of Ed and Lorraine Warren" which lines up with their defense that the films are based on fact.

Auteur: a filmmaker whose personal influence and artistic control over a movie are so great that the filmmaker is regarded as the author of the movie.

Wright left because he didn't have creative control, i.e. his artistic vision wasn't allowed. I know the one we got isn't the one he would have made, that's exactly my point.

It's possible they will, but Guardians was just as likely to mess up in that regard. It's not the number of characters that is generally problem, but the execution of those characters. People were worried that Civil War would have too many characters in it and it ended up being one of the MCU's best films.

You somehow managed to use the MCU film where a director left because of creative differences to try and bolster your point.
