"Trump's just a bag full of hot air, saying whatever will get him attention."

Have you played any of the Persona games, particularly Persona 3 or 4?

I didn't like the first Persona game much either and I played it around the time it was originally released.

One reason I love the games is that they try to cram in so many ideas and references and do so with so much style and verve and affection that it's hard not to be won over.

I've been surprised by the number of people who love Persona 4 despite not being fans of anime or even JRPGs.

Hashino has said that fans of P3 and P4 should feel right at home, so I'm not expecting them deviate too far from the proven formula (which would be bad business sense anyway), but it's not going to be a mere rehash of the last two games either.

Try Persona 4 Golden instead. The dungeon grind is still there but it's more tolerable and everything else about the game is more engaging. If you prefer J-pop to hip-hop, you'll also like the soundtrack more.

Hashino has said that the chief influences on P5's plot are teenage detective stories and picaresque novels (think Oliver Twist). I'm expecting these characters to be more roguish than outright villainous.
