I really enjoyed watching Joan watch Kitty from the side. She sort of eyes her sideways when she is talking to the Captain and smirks slightly when Gregson says "…the chances are slim" and then later a slight eyebrow raise to Gregson etc. Lucy Liu is really good reacting to other actors.

Loved Joan's khaki dress with the (extremely) prominent zipper although it did remind me a bit of Rolfe's uniform in Sound of Music. She rocks the black tights.
