Actually in this case it does. If a show has one of the highest ratings on television then its because its quality is good enough for viewers to enjoy. It would make no sense for a television show to have such high ratings if that wasn't the case.

Yet its still one of the most watched tv shows on cable.

So why watch it if they just end up critiquing it? Doesn't make any sense at all.
