Wonderful article! I think early 1960s TV is magical stuff!

A very nice read and a great primer for this awesome genre which seems to be getting more love — and more exposure — these days. Two more comedies to add to the list: Ann Sheridan starring in "Pistols n' Petticoats" in 1966 and meta-Western "The Hero" a year later in which Richard Mulligan plays a Hollywood actor…
