I always felt that way, too. Also, he didn't follow through with it. Was he tempted? Yes. Did he try? Yes, but in the end he couldn't do it.

Agh! Great catch. I wonder if he'll change his mind though - or he's changing his mind and believing the rumours?

I tend to agree. My main interest in this show is the connection I have to the originals: Ragnor, Lagertha, Floki, Bjorn, and Rollo. Watching Ragnor brought so low is tough. I'm not sure my allegiances will change and if they were going to pass the mantle onto someone in Vikings after Ragnor, I'd honestly rather watch

I agree. I also think there were echoes in something supernatural when Ragnor says to Aslaug: we both know it wasn't love that brought us together. At first, I thought he was referring to 'lust', but now I think he's hinting at something else.

Glorious!

And you think, what? Yes, yes. All code words for maintaining the status quo. I'm pretty sure someone who isn't from the same ethnic background and gender isn't qualified to discuss 'meaning' to those groups about race/ethnicity and gender performed by someone who is from those groups. Don't you?

Seems these people do! They're all hurt feelings and narcissism. "Look at me! Listen to me! I'm saaaaah important even when I don't know anything about the subject. Me, me, me and my opinions." I guess when people are so used to being the center of attention and privileged, sharing it feels like they're having

Proximity to lived experience.

I think a better term would be 'knowledgeable'. Someone can be 'educated' and know sweet FA about a subject.
