It's pretty cool to come back here and see all the positive feedback for this show that I never thought existed. I only ever heard people shitting on it. Sanjay and Craig wasn't a perfect show, but I thought it was a hell of a lot better than people gave it credit for.

Yeah, I really don't find that the tone made 'Mainframe' any less terrifying. It's an episode that I watched when I was younger that I remembered, but apparently not well enough because I had to do a double take on a recent viewing. I don't think I've seen an episode of Futurama since or ever that unrelentingly grim.…

I think it's interesting how the creators' views have evolved over the years, as early on Wendy was clearly meant to be mostly a joke character. But now they're taking her pretty damn seriously.
