Cookie Mountain is indeed their best full-length - followed closely by Nine Types of Light - but you should start with the Young Liars E.P. Five out of five tracks that are all excellent. Or just go see them live. God I love this band.

I kinda have the same situation with the Breeders.  I'm headed up to see them at the Fillmore (ticket came in the mail today, neato!) since they're playing FYF Fest for their LA date.  Anyway, I plan to be at the NIN Staples Center show too, I just hope it's not too pricey.

Flights to LA and Vegas and Phoenix are cheep from the bay area.  Make a trip out of it.
