Can anyone here guide/help me as to how to set up an AV Club account?
When I read TV reviews (Av CLub's are my favorites), there is the writer's A-F grade, the community's grade, and a place to click "My grade." However, I cannot submit my own grade because the page prompts me to log in. Note that it doesn't tell me

This was not an "A" episode. Other than the funeral/Thanksgiving episode, this was my least favorite of the season. I hate Tom James and loathe to think of him continuing on the show, especially in charge of Selina. :-(

I find Minna hilarious. I didn't so much when we first met her in Finland but this episode had me laughing out loud. Maybe it was because she was framed as having "Asperberger's" by Selina at the beginning of the episode. Minna calls it like she see it and generally without judgment. I'd like to see more of her.
Goi

This episode was gold - an A+ for me. Of Season 5's, it's the one I most likely see as winning Julia her 5th completely-deserved Emmy for VEEP. She is fucking brilliant. Her delivery of crass lines are given with such delicious glee I can't help but love this character who is supposed to be a fucking narcissistic

She talked about it in the back of a limo with Tom during season 4. He pretended (though she didn't know it at the time) not to remember it. Selina was mortified because, in her mind, they almost had a past together.

Ross should be permanent. Can't stand Carson - never could, since he was hitting on straight men on that show years ago. Embarrassing.

These recaps are SO GOOD. Thank you.

I'm voting for Cynthia Lee. Love my Cucu.

I'm afraid Chi Chi might be like my beloved Joslyn, too. I LOVED Joslyn and it frustrated me to see her performances weaken (though her smarts on Untucked were impressive) and her just not get it with those string & bead outfits.
Chi Chi is cool and likable. Something charismatic about her. But, damn girl, cinch

Yes!
You have SUCH a great point about the judges.
I had never heard of the young ladies who were the judges (still don't remember their names). A friend of mine, who is younger and likes reality shows, said one of the ladies hangs with one of the Kardashians?
So that made sense as I think the show is now pandering to

One of the best - best! - lines this season was when RuPaul said, prior to the lip sync, "…but, quite frankly, I don't give a fuck what they say…because the final decision is MINE to make."
And that sums it all up - it's Ru's fucking show.
You tell them, bitch.

I love Joslyn Fox. She's my favorite from Season 6, my favorite season ever.

This was an EXCELLENT recap, for several reasons:

This is an awesome recap. Love it.
And THIS was the best line of the week: “Kim Chi falls and just my heart drops out to my cucu.”

Not a huge TV watcher - I"m picky.
I've watched five episodes of this and the only thing interrupting it is work and other responsibilities. It's a good show.
The reviewers right about Malco - he's excellent.
And Zahn is annoying, but that works for the character.
Tolman is really excellent - like, fantastic.

Oh, I REALLY liked the editing this last episode had. No nonsense, getting right to business with the challenges and during the final tribal. No opening and closing speeches. That was appreciated.

The writer here did point out, smartly, that Jeremy's game was really flawed - often. His instincts - unlike Spencer's and Tasha's - were WAY off often. We saw it even in the last episode. He certainly wasn't a mastermind, like some winners have been, controlling others throughout the game (skinny woman named Kim

It dawned on me, finally, that props needs to be given to Kimmi for lasting as long as she has. The woman is 50 and played the game in its second season - 15 years ago. All of the remaining players have played in the past couple years - strategy is fresh in their minds. For that reason, I think she deserves special

I'm done with this recapper. Jesus Christ, it's a Shondaland TV show and it's entertaining. There is supposed to be some suspension of disbelief.
Each week, the author deconstructs the hell out of the show, bitching about the jumbled plot and throwing other tenets of narrative element - particularly "character" -

Several observations and thoughts;
