I do enjoy Zack's work on these reviews so I don't have to watch this shitty, shitty show any longer.

Manscape SHOULD be magnificent, as the culmination of the band's transition from shouty punk to slick, nitrous-fuelled techno pop.
Unfortunately, the songs are mostly rubbish. Torch It, though, gets a pass. Everything else…not so much.
Agreed on The First Letter, though. So and Slow it Grows is one of the best things

The Ideal Copy is a genius record - just don't go expecting classic 70s period Wire. Ahead is one of history's great singles, by anyone.

I was actually waiting for the Barton Fink connection at the start when the heating engineer / plumber chap asks: "Have you read the Bible?" Had Oliver Platt answered: "Holy Bible?", I'd have punched the air in triumph.

Is this a movie adaptation of the UK comedy series of a couple years back?

Real Feel is great. Home's a nice tune, but dig out Voices Drifting - one of the best guitar records of the past 12 months. And I don't even like that kinda shit.

I like The Field. I have not one, but two albums (and some remixes). Where does that put me on the chart?

All those words and no-one mentioned Braveheart? I hope a lot of people are taking good looks at themselves.
