Ah ok. If that's the case I take back my hyperbolic statement

I'm just not sure how someone's skin colour can be described as "exaggerated". That feels like a dodgy way of describing notwithstanding the point being made about the film's own racial issues. But maybe my reaction was a little overwrought.

"inky in their exaggerated blackness" wtf?! How is this statement not obscenely racist??
