Amen. It was totally and utterly baffling, and is perhaps my biggest complaint about the movie. Who the hell was the New Order? Why is there a "resistance"? Didn't the resistance win at the end of ROTJ? Shouldn't the new order be called the resistance? What the hell happened???

I love how this sounds identical to the album version except the horns aren't in yet and the end is very slightly different.

His exasperated "Mr. ANDERSON" was the highlight of the movie for me.

See what I mean?

Montreal has a funny one way rivalry with Toronto too. Everyone I know from Montreal take every opportunity they can to badmouth Toronto (though often good naturedly). But pretty much everyone in Toronto loves Montreal, and will happily say so.

The funny thing is that Ultima IV is in many ways not great at all. After a while combat is mind numbingly boring and you can't walk 5 steps through the forest without getting ambushed by about 50 useless skeletons.

Ummm … GOB???

I actually heard Ritter say the same thing in an interview once. He thought it made no sense at all that the perpetually horny Jack wouldn't be all over this beautiful woman.

I just watched this episode and I don't think I plan to continue. I enjoyed Season 1, but largely because I thought Hardy and Miller were fantastic. Pretty much everything else I could do without. I recognize that a series about a boy's death will be dour at times, but man did we ever have to sit through a lot of

Ya, it's weird that that never happened before in human history. Very bold prediction by Huxley.

Predictions about the future tell us absolutely nothing about the future. They tell us two things: 1) the world view of the person making the prediction, and 2) the worldview of the person who either endorses or rejects the prediction.

Listen, if Barry can land Lainey, I'm pretty sure Erica could get someone better than Jeff Schwartz. This plot line has been a dud since day 1, and it just won't die.

Can someone please explain to me why Skyrim is the last proper Elder Scrolls game? It is pretty much my favorite game ever and it was wildly popular. I know that Bethesda has been playing around with ES Online, but can we please have a new stand-alone game? Skyrim came out in 2011!!

Game over, man. :(

I don't disagree that the format is repetitive. But what is the danger that the kids faced at the Mill other than the eventual appearance of Olaf? Eating too much gum? It's not as if there will ever be any real danger in any of these shows, as I am assuming that the kids don't actually die at any point.

Agreed. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad word about Nightswimming until reading this article. It's one of my favorite REM songs. But oh man is Gwen right about Everybody Hurts.

This is a joke, right? There is no way that paragraph is from an actual book that was signed off on by Disney.
In all seriousness, I am genuinely confused.

I completely agree. I'm also baffled by how many 80s tropes they completely ignore. The 80s are notorious for bad hair and clothes. But with a couple of exceptions (Bev and Lainey), all the characters have more or less modern haircuts. Adam even wears modern glasses! Mullets were ubiquitous in the 80s and not a

The Goldbergs has become a bit tiring, I am sad to say. The Jeff/Erica thing was boring from the get go, and the idea that Erica couldn't get a date otherwise is preposterous.
More troubling is the fact that the show just isn't as funny as it used to be. Way too much focus on "learning moments" for the characters

This bothered me as well. SJ has been available for at least two years, and one suspects at least a bit longer. Given that everyone in there is enjoying a consequence free "life", and that they wouldn't be bound by the sexual mores of the 80s, it seems more than a little peculiar that Yorkie didn't meet anyone prior
