When was new music ever easy to find?  I don't remember radio stations ever pushing it that much.  It was much the same where 90%+ was the standard, with a little bit of new stuff thrown in…same as it is now.  I do agree that it'll be hard to convince people to keep paying for this as more services like torch music…
