Yea heads rolling in the mud during a battle scene is kinda trashy too. I agree keep reading good trashy novels.

The brothers start fighting and is the beginning of the end of the heathen army.
The Vikings as a historical fact didn't last that long. It's been a good series that continues to bring in new players and will show why none of the sons of Ragnar could ever be King.
The show has other characters and complex stories. It was never just gonna about Ragnar or did you think this was the Game of Thrones?
Just as brillant as what Ragnar did to Ecbert and Alle
This show was never gonna be just about Ragnar. And after his defeat in Paris who was gonna follow him anyway?
Go watch re-runs of Braveheart. Clearly you don't have the intellect to follow this show.
Solid season ending. I think this show has plenty of protagonist characters in spite of what the author thinks. This new fighting Bishop seems to have a dark side to him, and will serve the series well as it moves way past Ragnar.
Battle scenes for the season 1 and 2 only required a few xtras. These new battles and per history take it to a new level since it is following history somewhat that larger armies did the fighting.
Ragnar was never gonna last thru the whole series. It's far better to develop new characters and let the actors do their job.
Still strong story lines and characters that have moved past Ragnar. You can see the little piggies grunting/arguing on just about everything now, and it will be the down fall of them.
Truth be told this show has several chapters to it. The one you are seeing now is post-Ragnar clearly, and is moving to a new direction.
Oh I wouldn't give up that easy…..just watch and wait.
The series and history is moving past Ragnar. It will no longer be dominated by just one person.
The complexity and politics of who will be the "new king" are infusing the series with many possibilities. But at the end of all of this was Floki giving what only Floki can do. "I am a carpenter too!" For some out there who thought that Ragnar would live thru-out the whole series, sadly you missed out on history…
Ragnar is dead get over it, and lets have some bloody revenge.
Vendetta's are very much part of Viking lore.
Lady Mary should have hooked up with a guy who drives a motorcycle for a living. Now that would have been scandalous and fun.
