Shonda spoke pretty frankly about this. It's isn't about having forgiven Isaiah. She compromised with herself in order to give Sandra Oh's character the proper closure on the show. Basically she decide to work with someone she would rather not in order to maintain the integrity of her characterizations.

Oh, yeah I totally agree. I'm not on board with the people calling it disgusting. I think it's kind of brave. The only reason I asked is because the reviewer stated the Huck made it through a whole make-out without licking anyone.

I think this is taking his character too far. This makes him a straight up, no turning back back guy and I don't like it.

Unless my eyes were playing tricks on me I'm pretty sure Huck licked Quinn's neck. After spitting on it. Am I crazy?
