Well, it's BBC.
Well, it's BBC.
Great, let's sideline Fiona, Mikey and Ian for more Frank absurdity and awful sagged ass nudity.
Summarizes Ryan Murshit pretty well. Undeserved fame and success at its finest. And producing yet more TV sludge for the superficial troglodytes who love to consume his trash.
Well, yeah, that was the point.
I've just given hope that they'll ever bother to move on from Western Europe and recognize that trying out new myths might be for the better, and that hopefully any fears they have about a narrative without a brooding white protagonist is doomed to fail or whatever their shitty metrics tell them.
Good luck getting any fantasy show made that's not Western Europe.
The way he treated his ex-wife was ghastly and I sincerely hope he pays in full. His ex-wife had some serious restraint to endure all those slights and insults.
Call it the Girls effect. Bunch of television shows about yuppies "capturing" an "authentic" millennial experience or whatever bullshit the likes of Lena Dunham like to pass off their frivolous bullshit as.
I would be more bothered at the loss of her vocation if not for the horrid treatment she received when revealed and what we know certain nun orders did to many women at the time (held as free labor, gave their children away for adoption as fundraising for the church).
I'm sure wives who are abused by their husbands and later kill them also hate their husbands.
You don't need to be a surgeon to find it absurd that a bunch of professionals would stand by and allow a man to commit suicide for a spectacle.
This is why I rarely invest in shows by people who can't commit to a TV series. The story was rushed since it needed to be concluded in 2 seasons for both the director and Owens to leave on to other projects.
The thing is, Jonas has been given a pretty bland character. He's virtually just a brooding teenager with no real dialogue.
People who want to annex LGBT movements to other political movements and seek to promote in the LGBT community positions irrelevant to LGBT rights that happen to fall in line with progressive dogma.
LGBT won't break off from transgender people, they will break off from the left-wing proselytizers that try to sneak in progressive activism into the movement for LGBT rights in order to use us as a voting bloc for their political coalitions.
Clearly the entertaining way to do LGBT film is to distort history according to some activists and pretend like Stonewall never was a majority gay white male environment despite the actual photos taken of the uprising.
CoCo isn't that much better. His humor is the same, he constantly interrupts guests to sneak in his cheesy punchlines.
It's just too mediocre for me to put up with the 2 hour runtime. Way too cliche and it probably feels this crappy because they condensed it to 6 hours of 3 episodes, and so all the nuance may have been lost.
To be honest I don't see this hurting them remotely. On demand and on-site streamed have the same advertisement times, which means their revenue stays intact.
If you think awards are anything but professional networking and payoffs, you are in for a rude awakening.
