Not really. Much like how there can be some shitty sons and daughters who turn on their parents for little reason, the same can happen with some adopted thug.

The UFO crap ruined it for me. The also wasted Jean Smart pretty badly, thoroughly incompetent character and barely any airtime or lines besides constantly being the clueless, emotionally manipulated mother who got whacked by someone as shady as Hanzee.
The writing is so bad, I feel bad for the actors. And I feel bad for that kid, he was seriously miscast.
Ok, I've cut the show enough slack because it was going really well, but this episode truly tried my suspension of disbelief.
For some reason this show its obsessed with its shittiest storyline.
Hot men, hot men everywhere, god help me!
Poor Hanzee, he just wants a glass of water and a haircut.
Somebody kill off Morgan already. Carol, you stupid ho next time grab the gun.
And because just one aspect (out of very many) of the show I don't like happens to be voiced in a comments sections, that compels you to tell people they should abandon the show for another altogether?
For someone calling people delicate, you seem awfully invested in telling strangers with opinions you don't like to go away.
You know, maybe just because a minority claims racism/discrimination doesn't necessarily make it true/reasonable all the time. People do like to tout their perceived disadvantages as a reason why things go badly for them.
The junior associates Cary was dealing with dissipated into thin air to that nether realm Robin was shipped to. Then we have Cary hooking up with the next Kalinda replacement.
"Bitch almost set me on fire, but she raped me so I'm gonna go and fall in love with her."
Don't care he's a womanizer. Most men in that age were. What I don't care is the use of those women as a corpse/tragedy count to drive his personal development. There are better ways to develop a male character than "they killed/took my women and children". Don't really need more of that Liam Neeson crap.
Don't like what they did to Iseult. Using a woman's life to catalyze a male protagonist's actions/development is tired, and how many more women must Uhtred go through? Women are not ladders for your personal development.
Not even a remotely good analogy. The ownership clearly implied sexual exploitation, there was no nurturing/fatherly aspect to it. The Widow and the thugs are not interchangeable.
She sold her family out for sexual favors. She basically tried to buy a hit on her family via pussy. That's what I call a whore.
Beocca is a dumb cunt. He was so sour about a Pagan possibly saving the king's child through a pagan ritual that he had to make that little scene passive aggressively praising the Lord while giving an admonishing gaze to Uhtred.
No one better than Bear than to put that dumb bimbo 6 feet under. Whiny idiot, to spite your father you got a bunch of people who swore to look out for you killed; you almost got the one woman who wants to protect and nurture you killed. And for what, so you could have your dumbfuck rebellious adventure with some…
Yes. A judge can deny a request for substitution. You'll basically have to appeal to an upper court.
