More folksy than poppy. Also if you're afraid of listening to a band that's honest about their relationship with the Lord, then go listen to something else.

I don't know if I'd jump right to 5, but you can absolutely skip 2 and 3

Yeah, holy crap, why is no one talking about this? Was there some sort of camera trick I missed, or did they basically have their big star attempt suicide for an interesting shot?

Sin City, 300, and Boondock Saints were all dumb fun movies that I loved in high school and college, but I always felt like their sequels could have done well if they hadn't taken forever to come out. By the time they did, I and everyone else I knew who liked them had long since stopped caring.

Understandable, no reason to heap praise a second time. And the header does make it clear that this isn't necessarily a list of the best games of the year. Still though, that's absolutely the game I will remember most from 2016

I realize everyone has their own tastes, but I don't get how The Witness doesn't even make a 2-part year-end list of the best video games. That might be my game of the decade so far

Nice to see Chapo Trap House in the top ten podcasts

the most embarrassing tweet of 2016

I hate that- the movie hasn't even come out yet, stop acting like we know and love the characters already!

It's a shame because you're not far from the end, and there are some awesome puzzles that come right after that. I think my favorite puzzle in the game comes shortly after and involved the walk-able platform puzzle gimmick (like the first puzzle you encounter inside the mountain), except there's two puzzles and two

Yeah she and Jon Oliver are both pretty great at ripping apart the republican party, but it felt like they both had a major blindspot in their criticism of the democrats that feels very out-of-touch after the election loss.

I'm surprised at all the People vs OJ hate from these comments, I thought everyone loved that show when it was airing? Anyway my only big gripe with this list is Orange is the New Black's absence. I thought it was amazing, the best season they've done. And since everyone loves posting their lists, here's my top 10-
1)

yeah I know everyone's got their own tastes, but if you're compiling a consensus list, I have no idea how GoT drops all the way to 17. Huge comeback season.

A brief list of notable shows that aired new episodes in 2015 but took a break in 2016:
Fargo
The Leftovers
Rick & Morty
The Knick
Master of None
Review
Nathan For You
Sense8
Homeland
Louie
I've seen so many of these show up in "Best of 2016" lists. Get it together, people!
