Maggie's a keeper.

Glen was likable, but he didn't add much beyond that.
Agree on Carol too.

Comic books aren't my thing. But i agree it really became comic book-like last night.

To me, Negan seems one dimensional. I don't expect any depth from that character.

It seemed like a lot of work to bring Rick down. Why not just kill him and keep the more docile ones?

Yeah. It was ridiculous. If Negan had pounded Glenn's head half as many times, the scene would not have lost anything. Also, the eyeball bulging out of its socket was cheap and tasteless.

The cliffhanger wasn't that great. Glen was a beloved character, but he was not that important to the story. It made me feel bad for Maggie, but she'll bounce back soon enough.

The gore and sadism were over the top. If the season is going to revolve around Negan's brutality, then it is going to be a long season. If Negan is just going to be the Governor on crack, that's not going to work, There better be more to it, and there has to be a reason all those people are following him and willing

It was too silly and the political correctness was forced.

I liked that the show wasn't trying to push one side (Trump or Clinton).

That's pretty much everything that I was thinking as the episode unfolded.
But I'll watch the next season anyways.

That's true. And in the original tv series set in Georgia, the gangs and cult leaders are whites.

I don't know. But if it were me I would have headed north instead of south.

I think it would have been better if they shot it someplace other than Mexico because the race issue gets in the way. They could have taken the boat some place where all the bad and crazy characters would have been white.

I agree they should not shoot the series in Mexico.

I usually like the reviews on this site, but the author spent about half of this review pontificating about race.

Yes. Ms Weiss figured the other evidence was enough. But it wasn't. She didn't get a conviction.

I liked Weiss a lot, especially in last night's episode. it was amazing how easily she dismissed Box's new evidence. A series with her as the main character would be great.

Box and Weiss would ignore it because it doesn't help their case to bring it up.

It wasn't perfect, but I cared a lot about what happened to Naz and was fascinated by the whole process. So I think the show worked.
