It was reduced so Mindy could film side projects but I wouldn't be surprised if it is the last season.

Danny and Christina also lived in Jersey for a brief time with Mindy was in Haiti. I assume she knew this when they were writing each other back and forth. Probably just an oversight to foster the story line.

I think the difference here in intention. Morgan tries to treat Mindy like a queen. He oversteps boundaries but it's because he wants to be included and spend time with her, he's not trying to win or buy her love. Mindy encourages Morgan, she does not encourage Jody.

They are pushing this Jody thing too hard. Hope it's an easy decision for Mindy next season.

Or maybe he still get her but is afraid to really vocalize why he wants her to stay home because he knows she doesn't need him as much as he needs her.

Interesting take! A second crib hadn't even occurred to me last night. I do have to disagree though and say that I don't think Danny ever measured whether there was room for Mindy in his apartment, at least, until Cliff called him out on it.

Yeah, that's what bothers me so much. It's out of character but I can't come up with a more plausible storyline. I think had he been gone for only two episodes, everyone's opinion on this storyline might be different. Give them another episode or two to fight and/or discuss before the finale.

He almost always came around because someone called him out on his BS. Had Messina been in more of the episodes this first half, it might not be such a one sided argument.

Totally agree that it was contrived but how would have written him out for a few episodes to manage Messina's filming schedule?
