I remember being so amazed to find out that women's breasts aren't negative images with one wavy, horizontal line moving repeatedly from top to bottom… That's why 2013 was such an important year for me.

I didn't have HBO. I could only follow the boobs wistfully from afar.
… Kinda like high school.

"It looks hilarious"
Mr. Gibson, didn't you agree not to post here anymore?

They cut the subplot with the prostitute. When I saw it, I could only say with outrage, "Ho gooooooooone!"

I thought HBO became HBOobs with that Brian Benben show…? It was reshown on Comedy Central with all the nudity cut out (Leaving me to wonder why the hell Comedy Central thought people watched that show in the first place…)

He does his best work in stand-up. He really kills!

My guess is that this isn't up to the creators of the show but Cougar Town needs to get on Netflix so people can get attached to it and seek it out.

Can I go back 10 minutes ago to when I didn't know this show or anyone on it existed?

I thought the movie was good and I swear this site must be part of their viral marketing campaign because every comment here about how these guys are too old to be in a movie and no one wants to see them anymore seems to have been lifted straight from the script.
But the reason I'm posting here is to say that they

Hey, AV Club, would it kill you guys to caption your photos? Once again, there is a photo at the top of one of your articles that has no reference and I don't what I'm seeing. I don't know if this is one of those, "If you have to ask, you're not hip enough to deserve the answer" but it's really annoying to have to

Clitty Clitty Bang Bang?

Dear AV Club,
PLEASE stop trying to make Enlightened happen. It's never going to happen.
Sincerely,
The entire planet

I won't pretend to be an expert on Wally Wood's life but even if what you're saying is true, it's not what the article said.
I'm not defensive about it. If it really was the vehicle that helped Wood get discovered, I wouldn't be offended or insulted on Wood's behalf. I'm just saying that one particular fact in this

Excellent….

In fairness, I do remember the interview where he said they really liked the strips he did in the a.m. Apparently, they really enjoyed morning Wood.
Hey now!

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh…..

Everyday commentators won't stand for this!

Indivisible? Not sure I agree.
I was probably unclear. You may still disagree but let me try to explain this better.
Mort Weisinger-era Superman was a series that had a problem with women (Probably spelled Mort's name wrong….) In fairness, it was emblematic of the times but Lois Lane was a meddling pain who didn't know

He's right. My big dick and superior manliness are entirely separate from my hair loss.

Just to be Comic Book Nerd Guy, the only quibble I have with this is the idea that Screw helped a "burgeoning" talent like Wally Wood. Wood was already pretty well burgeoned (or as the kids would say today, he was totes burged…) with his work at EC and on the Spirit before the first issue of Screw was published.
