I find it funny that an article saying the test is fine the way it is gets the test definition wrong! Per Alison Bechdel's original cartoon where the test is described ("The Rule"), there's no requirement that the characters be named.

Confused. Why does she need to pay off his debt if he's dead?  You can't inherit outstanding debt from your child, and medical and tax bills aren't the kind of ting you normally have a co-signer on AFAIK.
