Netflix lists the original as being in "Super HD"… which ofc it wasn't back in the 90s, but I guess there's been some remastering.

I know people are comparing him to Frank Booth… but the Elvis kung fu reminded me of Nic Cage in Wild at Heart.
Yeah, I was rooting for him to share some chips with his son and then he did. Very sweet moment.
His last name is Horne, so… that is one possibility, yes.
Right now Richard and Chad are #1 and #2 on my "want to see them meet violent ends ASAP" list for TP season 3… and yes, that's a pair of spots above Dark Cooper right now. gg, guys.
Yes, but Twin Peaks, the show (and season 3 specifically) is now taking place in New York City, South Dakota, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, AND Twin Peaks, Washington.
Loving Dougie but wondering how much longer we're going to go without Cooper back to his full (ab)normal self. Clock is ticking on these 18 eps… I know some people are saying maybe Lynch is going to continue past that but nothing is guaranteed. Treat each ep as if it's the last, and let's get Cooper some pie and…
The only internet nazis I'll proudly stand up for are the grammar nazis.
Tough dame.
I really thought Cooper was gonna wake up this week. Still no cherry pie, tho. We need to get that man to the diner in Twin Peaks… stat.
I dunno, I tend to expect shocking violence when I tune in to a David Lynch project. Neither the child being hit by the truck nor the ice pick murdering shocked or surprised me. Maybe that they were so close together, that was the main notable thing.
Yeah, there's reports of David Lynch saying he didn't want it all to be dumped at once… and yet there's other reports of it being one long 18 hour movie… to me, those statements kinda seem to contradict each other… but I guess in his mind it's one long-ass movie that he wants us to have to wait and thank about while…
Yeah, I was fearing the worst when I saw that bit of casting, but overall pretty pleasantly surprised.
by none of these three installments are you talking about 1/2 together, 3/4 together, and now 5 separately?
Yes. I have a feeling pie is the missing ingredient. We've got coffee + "agents" + case files + a sheriff statue… someone get this man a slice of cherry pie, STAT!
It's not bad. It's just slow and confusing and perhaps a bit frustrating at times. Just go with it.
Yeah, pretty sure it's supposed to be all soapy and low-rent. Do you watch Better Call Saul? Another show with intentionally shoddy-looking opening credits (supposed to resemble cheap local TV commercials).
That epic "BUY NOW!" infomercial info dump screen is now gracing so very many desktop backgrounds and smartphone wallpapers this week.
Not just no one in Dougie's life but also random strangers (security guards at casinos, security guards outside his office building, etc)… Las Vegas is a weird and wacky place and apparently if you ever have a stroke there, no one will ever notice.
Who do we think is Becky's dad, btw? Anyone remember a character named Burnett in the original series's two seasons or FWWM?
